Brown Equipment Rental, Inc., was established by father, Dexter, and his three sons, Alan, John, and Carl who were looking for a business that would stand the test of time. “Who better would know this than our father Dexter who has seen the rise and fall of many businesses,” advised the sons.

Dexter has worked on and ran many machines in his life and has taught his sons the skills necessary to operate a successful equipment business. They purchased some small and large equipment and Dexter ran the Pearsall branch. Building a clientele in Pearsall was slow and they did not see much income for the first 3 years. Once they learned what people in that area needed, they were able to purchase the equipment.

In 2007,  they decided to open a yard in Lytle. Slowly they added to the equipment stock, however the process was slow. They intend to fully have all the equipment available for the needs of the Lytle area.
